Returns and Refunds
RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY
Returns and refunds policy is valid for 14 days after the delivery of your goods.
Under the Australian Consumer Law , we do not accept a return of product if customers:
- Change their mind
- Ordered the wrong product / make a wrong decision
- Find a product cheaper elsewhere or the product goes on sale
- Damage the product by misusing it
- Use the product for a very long time and the problem is the result of usual wear and tear.
iBuilt Kits only accepts returns under the following circumstances and are subject to approval along with a copy of proof of purchase within the 14 day return period if:
- The incorrect item is supplied by iBuilt Kits
- Item damaged or faulty
All good being returned must be in original packaging.
Faulty or Incorrect Goods
The purchased good/s needs to be returned to iBuilt Kits. Return shipping costs will be covered by the customer. We will replace in part or whole the item at fault (or if stocks are exhausted, refund or credit you) excluding original delivery costs.
Goods Damaged in Transit
Please contact us prior to any assembly or installation to make a claim. We will not negotiate on damaged items after items they are assembled or installed.
How do I make a return/refund claim?
Returns and refunds policy is valid for 14 days after the delivery of your goods. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org before sending any returns to see if you are eligible for a return/refund. Please include your order number, a specific description of damage/problem, photographs, and clear explanation of your reason.
Once your return is approved all returned goods must be received by iBuilt Kits before a replacement/refund can be processed . Therefore, we recommend using a reliable shipping service that provides tracking and insurance. You must ensure that your goods are packaged in the orginal packaging provided. We are not responsible for any returns that are lost or stolen while in transit, and if you do not have tracking or insurance you are liable and will not qualify for the refund/return.
How long will it take to process my return/refund?
We will email you once your return or exchange is processed. Please allow 3-4 weeks from the time you mail your return for it to be processed.
How will I receive my refund?
Once the return has been received, inspected and approved, we will email you to notify you that we have received and approved/rejected the returned item for refund. If approved, your refund will be processed and we will refund to the original form of payment within 30 days.
If the goods are damaged during installation or the vehicle is damaged as a result of incorrect installation, we are not responsible and will not issue a refund or credit.
When you have received your package, please inspect your product for any manufacturer defects or shipping damage prior to installation. If you notice any damages or defects, please contact us ASAP
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
We strongly encourage using a trackable shipping service and/or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
